Many years ago I spent a wonderful couple of days floating along the backwaters of Kerala on a rice boat. For hours I sat and just watched the world go by. As you can imagine I took many photos. Here’s one of my favourites.

[...] Here’s a link to another photo I posted from Kerala that had a few people hankering to pack their bags! Drifting along the backwaters of Kerala [...]

Lovely photo! Seems so peaceful…
Thanks Jodi. It was bliss!
So beautiful! I want to be just right there! Slowly paddling down the river.
Better still… with someone else paddling while you take photographs!
Many thanks for your comment, Kathryn
Fantastic photo! It looks peaceful along with beautiful.
Thank you so much. It was a wonderful place and I hope I can return some day.
Nice! Reminds me of some river travels I did in Borneo few years ago.. makes me want to go and pack my bags and go traveling…
Thanks for popping by and following!
Wonderful shot – I love the way the foreground is clear and the boatman is moving into the haze…
Thanks Suzanne!
