I recently spent a wonderful weekend in London staying at the smart, Millennium Gloucester Hotel in South Kensington. You can read my review of the hotel, which I loved, here but I’d also like to show you more about this lovely area of London itself. My photos will tell the story better than my words can…
Quite by chance we stumbled upon one of London’s Farmer’s Markets held every Saturday from 9am to 2pm on Bute Street, a great place to pick up some delicious treats for a picnic in nearby Hyde Park.
Check out their website for details of others held around the city.
All this on the doorstep of our lovely hotel, the Millennium Gloucester, which I’d certainly recommend. Not only is the hotel itself very smart and stylish, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and it’s in a lovely area of London with many of the city’s attractions, such as the Natural History Museum just minutes away. You can read my full review on Boutique Travel Blog.
Please note that I was a guest at the Millenium Gloucester Hotel but as always these are my own views and honest opinion.
