Like many of my fellow travel bloggers I love Instagram.
I enjoy keeping up with other people’s travels there.

Last weekend I spent a wonderful few days exploring Paris and,
to give you a little taster of things to come,
here’s my weekend in Paris as it appeared in Instagram.

If you’d like to follow me on Instagram just search for ‘TravelWithKat’ or follow here.

Avenue Story, Paris

We loved our apartment on rue Cler which we rented through Avenue Story.

Grimbergen beer, Paris

I’m not much of a beer drinker at but I do like the odd pint!
This was possibly the nicest beer I’ve ever tasted…. Grimbergen, an abbey beer from Belgium.

07 chocolate hen

It was the weekend before Easter and there were chocolate animals everywhere.

08 baby boutique

A designer label shop for babies!

Formagerie on Rue Cler, Paris

What a great combo – wine and cheese on rue Cler, just a two minute walk from our apartment.
The staff in the wine shop in particular were extremely helpful and friendly.

10 Lamb chops

Our first evening meal was at Café du Marché, again on rue Cler.
Great meal and friendly service, always with a smile (despite being rushed off their feet).

11 Pear tart

This pear tart with chocolate sauce was superb!

12 Le Petit Cler

Le Petit Cler, one of the other wonderful restaurants on rue Cler.

13 Le Patisserie Stohrer

Thanks to Habiybah, from Avenue Story, for an excellent (complimentary) tour of the food shops on rue Montorgueil.

I’m looking forward to sharing more photographs and telling you all about this!

17 Notre Dame

I was glad we found time to pop in inside Notre Dame which I’d missed on previous visits.
