There is something magical in Norway and the picture of the wind turbines show it the best… weird and magical. Just got back from Norway a week ago, got inspired while checking my FB feeds and that was the best trip I have taken so far in my life. Five Days in Norway
I couldn’t agree more – magical. I’d love to go back and see more.
Wow amazing photos! The one of Greece makes me especially excited to go there this summer!! 🙂
Have a fabulous time. Love Greece!
Wow, really incredible landscapes- they’re so colourful! I’ve been wanting to go to Corsica for a long time, but you’ve just reminded me thank-you.
Corsica is a superb island to photograph with many different dramatic landscapes to capture, both along the coast and in the interior. I hope you get to go there soon!
Wow, Kate! I have never seen these places in a real life, but I can just imagine how powerful they are! Added them all to my bucket list 🙂
Hope you get to see at least some of them for yourself before to long, Agness.
Stunning series Kathryn. Both the desert shots are standouts for me.
Thanks Madhu 🙂
So pretty. I love the Greece one and the Italy one above that. Thanks for sharing these with us. You have got quite the talent. 🙂
Thanks Erin. Glad you enjoyed them.
These are neat; where is the first one from? I don’t see a caption.
These places don’t look close to an airport or any towns, so how long do you spend when you visit them? Are you hiking or doing tours to these places?
La Gomera is my fave.
Thanks Kerwin. The first picture is Teide on Tenerife. How did I get there? The places shown in The Gambia, Amberely and Santorini I walked to but nothing epic. The Arctic Norway image was taken from a boat and the rest I got to by petrol power. None of them are that remote. I hope that doesn’t spoil the illusion that they are wild, remote, places. Sometimes beautiful places are nearer than you think.
Brilliant! This puts it all in perspective. Thank you.
Good camera on that Norway shot though.
Such amazing landscapes you’ve visited. I especially like the Sharjah Desert and Arctic Norway. So unusual.
Yes, I’ve feel very lucky to have ben to so many wonderful places. More coming soon!
Fab shots Kat – and great to know I was there with you when you took two of them!
Oh yes! You were 🙂 I hope we get to do some more interesting trips together again soon.
Great shots, Kat… I particluarly like the one of Rimini with those rolling hills… and that one of Teide is a classic view that you see on all the postcards. 🙂 Whereabouts was the first shot?
Thanks Paul, the first one is Teide too.
I was trying to pick my favourite photograph, but it was impossible as they are all stunningly different landscapes. Great job Kat.
Thanks Paula. It was hard to decide which ones to include.
