Every year millions of suitcases simply disappear.

And should this happen to your bag, you may well never see it again, unless you have it Smart-Tagged that is.

I’ve 5 sets of Smart-Tags to give away

The lovely people at Smart-Tags have given me 5 sets of their clever little tags, that help reunite lost luggage with their owners, to giveaway. Each set is made up of two standard tags, perfect for suitcases and one smaller bonus tag, ideal for a set of keys or anything else you’d like protected when you travel.

Smart tags for your luggage

How do Smart-Tags Work?

Each tag has a unique fingerprint that enables whoever finds your Smart-Tagged item to let you know they’ve found it. They can do this by either scanning its QR code with an app on their smartphone or by simply visiting the Smart-Tags web site and entering the tag’s ID.

I’ve got a set and it really is reassuring to know that these tags are on my bags when I travel.

When I first got my tags all I had to do was register them on the Smart-Tags website. I could then add as little or as much information to each tag as I liked including my contact number, my email address, my travel itinerary and these can be updated as often as I like.

A great little added bonus is that I could also add in my passport expiry date so that the Smart-Tags team will email me a reminder to renew it as the date draws near. Handy.

Smart-Tags have just introduced a more discrete matt black version of the tags so do check out their website, Smart-Tags.eu,  if you want to know more.
