12 awesome travel & wildlife photographers to follow on Instagram in 2018
Almost every day, I check out some of my favourite travel and wildlife photographers on Instagram,
eager to see where they are in the world. Beautiful images of landscapes, people, wildlife and architecture,
send my mind into a wanderlusting frenzy!
Photos that make me want to hop on a train to London and find all these locations, so I can photograph them myself.
Tiffany’s photos make me dream on a grander scale. Where should my next big adventure be?
If I look at Shannon’s photographs for long enough will I absorb some of her skills?
Beautiful shots, mainly of English villages and countryside, often featuring Maurice, Mona’s gorgeous Morris Minor.
More daydreaming induced by Marta’s stunning images of lakes, mountains and forests.
Mews cottages, cobbled streets – I love seeing London (and the world) through Julie’s eyes.
Two great guys, Yaya and Lloyd, mix a dash of humour with great photography.
A great account to follow for elephant lovers, Andrew’s photos can be funny and cute as well as fascinating.
Thanks to Andrew I recently stumbled across the photos of conservationist Jeni who captures an intriguing mix of human and animal life.
I’m daydreaming again of wide open spaces and big adventures. Who lives in that little house in the woods?
Photos that ignite different emotions and regularly make me squeal, coo or sigh out loud.
I’m sure there are some familiar faces here, but I hope my list, which is entirely subjective,
brings some new travel inspiration to your Instagram feed.
Time for some shameless self-promotion! If you enjoy my photography I’d love you to follow me on Instagram
where I share images from my own travels. I enjoy taking my Instagram followers along with me for
autumn walks amongst Japan’s maple trees, to the temples of Chiang Mai or to meet the baboons in a West African forest.
Which are your favourite travel and wildlife photographers on Instagram?
Wishing you all safe and happy travels in 2018.

I never travel without insurance. If something unexpected goes wrong the costs implications are just too high to take the risk. World Nomads provides travel insurance to travellers from over 130 countries. They're the perfect choice for long term travellers or single trip insurance.

When I’m travelling, especially to a new city, I use Viator and Get Your Guide to book tours and excursions, in particular, food walking tours or to visit somewhere tricky to get to by public transport.
